as promised heres the deadpool rant

"Nicknamed the "Merc with a Mouth", Deadpool is a high-tech mercenary known for his wisecracks, black comedy, and satirical pop-culture references. Like the X-Men's Wolverine, Deadpool is the product of the Canadian government's paramilitary Weapon X program, although his place of birth is unknown. After Weapon X cured his terminal cancer by implementing a regenerative "healing factor" extracted from Wolverine, Deadpool is left disfigured and mentally unstable."

Thats the crash course in deadpool 101. for 102 you would learn about cable, body surfing, where the term deadpool came from and other such trivia such as his real name(s).

Deadpool is hands down one of my favorite marvel creations. he's spastic, has a strange sense of humor and has seen aunt may naked. Not only does he have wolverines healing abilities but he is a helluva lot funnier most issues. He is also one of the few comic characters to know he is a comic book hero. Breaking the fourth wall(talking about being in a comic) is a taboo most people arnt willing to commit to and yet deadpool has done it more times then he has fathered children.
Maybe its a sense a kin in him but im a huge fan of his. i love his outfit, powers, and generally most story arcs he is involved in. But i have a problem with the newest arc and by arc i mean movie namely wolverine: origins.

First off i like Ryan Reynolds. I like his comedic timing. Stoked doesnt even begin to explain my feelings to see him play one of my favorite comic book heroes. Then i saw the pics. I could live with him not wearing the mask because it makes sense that for the most part the movie follows what happens before the weapon x program which is where the scars come from. I start having problems though when i see what looks like blades coming out of the toys arm that is officially liscenced from the movie. everyone knows that the toys for movies usually relate pretty well with what the final decision for the characters look will be.

So i have to question why the fuck deadpool is sporting blades from his hand. He does not have any blades like that in any comic. the closest thing to blades like wolverines comes from when he used knuckle blades during an arc. Deadpool is a merc that would rather shoot first from yards away then get bloody or tired from physical fighting.

So I ask why the fuck does he have a blade coming from each arm? Atleast on the toy his hands are wrapped so theres a chance the blades are tied on...oh wait never mind because in stills from the movie he still has his hand blades but no tape..which unless he decided to gorilla glue them to his arms he is physically connected to them aka wolverine like..

While its a cool concept i mean hell lady deathstrike has her claws for fingers, wolverine has his 3 knuckle claws and sabretooth has his nails its only fair deadpool gets something....In a fair trade he has razor sharp wit instead and everyone knows to get far in life you only have to keep people laughing.

This is the Deadpool we all know and love:

this is not:

To repeat! this is deadpool the fans adore:

not this...
